Due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak the dental practice has been advised to cancel all appointments. We have decided to do this for at least the recommended “lockdown” period and will reassess the situation towards the end of that time.

All appointments have been cancelled with immediate effect. The situation is rapidly changing and when further information is available we will post it here, on our telephone answering machines, our Facebook and Instagram page.

Please rest assured that upon reopening the practice will ensure that all patients are rebooked as soon as possible.

In particular our registered practice plan patients will still receive their correct number of check up and hygiene appointments per year (albeit a little delayed). We will put on extra hygienist sessions in order that patients can book in as soon as the dental regulators tell us this is allowed.

Any patients who are in the middle of treatment or waiting for treatment to start who have concerns should also email reception@mossleydental.co.uk for further information.

The practice will open occasionally, by appointment only, for emergency treatments for registered patients only during this time on a sporadic basis. For information call the practice phone line where information will be available on the answering machine. Please note that during the government lockdown period in particular we would ask patients to delay requesting an emergency appointment unless it is absolutely necessary. For example severe dental pain which is not relieved by pain killers or a facial swelling as a result of a dental abscess.
